On the surface, Opal Doyle is a well-behaved girl studying abroad. But in reality, she’s the leader of Dark Phoenix, a secret organization of martial arts masters who punish evil and protect the innocent. One day, Opal rushes back home with her bodyguard Jack Ellis after hearing that her grandfather, Jonah Harris, has fallen gravely ill. On his deathbed, her grandfather arranges a marriage for her. Not wanting him to die with regrets, Opal reluctantly agrees. However, her new husband Jamie Finch turns out to be a disgraceful man. On their wedding night, he goes out partying with his rich friends. When Opal confronts them, they demand that she apologize and toast to them. Outraged, Opal fights back and teaches them a painful lesson. Enraged by humiliation, Nolan Innes and Jamie Finch capture Jack Ellis and threaten Opal. Unable to bear seeing her humiliated, Jack takes his own life. Consumed by fury, Opal swears to bring justice. Through a turbulent and emotional journey, she brings Jamie Finch and his accomplices to justice — never crossing the line of the law, but standing firm in her pursuit of righteousness.
