DMCA & Copyright Policy
Effective September 16, 2026
1. What we host
Mugen Stream respects the rights of copyright holders and responds to properly submitted notices of claimed infringement.
Our apps and this site index and link to media that is hosted by third parties. We do not upload, store or serve that video ourselves, and in most cases the fastest route to permanent removal is a notice sent to whoever is actually hosting the file. Where content genuinely sits on our own servers, or where we are linking to material you own, we will act on a valid notice as described below.
User accounts can also create content on this site — posts, comments, avatars and uploads. Those are covered by this policy in the same way.
2. Reporting infringement
If you own a copyright, or are authorised to act for someone who does, and you believe material available through our services infringes it, send a written notice to our designated agent at allthemyth@gmail.com.
Put “DMCA Takedown Notice” in the subject line. A notice that is missing the elements in the next section may be delayed while we come back to you for them, so including everything the first time is the quickest route.
3. What a notice must contain
To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice needs all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of someone authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed. If several works are covered by one notice, a representative list of them.
- Identification of the material you are asking us to remove, with enough detail for us to find it — a direct URL is best. A title alone is usually not enough.
- Your contact details: name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
4. What happens next
We review notices promptly, and in the ordinary course act on valid ones within a few business days. Where the claim is clear we remove or disable access to the material, and where it was posted by a user we notify them and pass on a copy of the notice, including the contact details it contained.
Because much of what our apps show is an index of third-party sources, removal on our side means the link and its metadata stop being served. It does not delete the underlying file, which remains with whoever is hosting it.
5. Filing a counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address. It must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live — or, if you are outside the United States, any district in which we may be found — and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
We will forward a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. If they do not tell us within 10 business days that they have filed an action seeking a court order, we may restore the material.
6. Repeat infringers
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers. What counts as appropriate depends on the case, but an account that attracts repeated valid notices should expect to lose access.
7. Misuse of this process
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation — that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake — can be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. Please be certain the material is genuinely yours and that the use is not permitted before you send a notice.
8. Designated agent
