Chie Kōjiro reprises role of Obocchama-kun from original 1989 anime
TV Asahi announced on Thursday that the new Indian-animated Obocchama-kun show based on Yoshinori Kobayashi 's Obocchama-kun manga will air in Japan in 2027 under the title Obocchama-kun Reborn .
Chie Kōjiro is reprising the role of the protagonist Obocchama-kun from the original 1989 anime.
Sidheswar Shukla directed the show at Green Gold Animation . The series will have 26 episodes (22 minutes each), and will be targeted at children 6-11 years old. In India the series will air on ' Sony YAY!.' The new anime project is being carried out together with Sony Pictures Networks India , Sony Group 's local subsidiary. Under the supervision of Yoshinori Kobayashi , Shinei Animation is producing the scenario.
